Just like there are diseases and dangers that try to kill us humans, there are spiritual diseases and dangers that try to destroy the power Jesus gives you, when you are born again into salvation. He will prepare you and empower you to win over three major areas where you can be attacked and damaged. He will help you not react in a wrong way to these attacks, so you won’t get hurt. Jesus wants to give you one power-reaction you can use during all the events of life. He and it will help you keep the power flowing in and through you.

Jesus will be using this study to help you identify all the pitfalls and traps that have been and will continue to come your way. The world, the people, and your body aren’t going to change. It will be you that has changed. Jesus is empowering you with His power to handle and win over the issues of life.

Jesus will teach you how to have the right power-reaction to those things that come your way. If you know ahead of time exactly what to expect from life, then you can be ready to win over those issues. The three possible “reactions” Jesus will be showing you, in this study, have to do with understanding, receptivity, and distraction. They are the three things that have been hurting you all during your past life.

In this study, Jesus is going to give you a chance to experience His power in a more specific way, so you can understand His principles. After you have had adequate time to experience what being born again can do for you, you can then decide if you are willing to be receptive to a future with Him and an eternity with Him.

You will always have a God-given free will that allows you to decide whether or not you will be distracted by “opportunities” your friends, your relatives, your associates, your boss, your career, or your body want you to go back to. You won’t be making any major changes in your career, your job, your friends, or your associates. But, if any of them are huring you, Jesus will help you gradually get free from them.

The three areas of pressure that will be coming against you will be temptations or invitations to “trade” the power you have received through Jesus’ salvation and go back to things of this world. These invitations (temptations) will be traps that pull you back into your old life of powerlessness and defeat. Once again, Jesus won’t have you make major changes right away; but, if they are damaging you, He will give you wisdom, special opportunities, and miracles that will give you a better choice.

Jesus will use this study to help you be able to resist temptations and respond by using a fourth reaction. He will give you understanding that you didn’t have before. He help you be receptive to truths that you have needed all your life. And, He will give you freedom from distractions, that have been trapping, luring, and addicting you. He and this study will help you win by helping you understand His principles, be receptive to Him, and not be distracted by the offers of the world.

The fourth reaction is a process of defeating your old life, the world, and the devil. Through understanding the Bible and its principles, being receptive to a whole new and powerful way of life, and not allowing your old life, the world, and the devil to distract you. You will be empowered to keep from being lured back into slavery to extreme pleasure, addictions, habits, and lifestyles that hurt you and those around you.

You will also discover a power-life that offers happiness, joy, and excitement. Jesus will teach you how to have money, possessions, positions, popularity, prestige, power, pleasure, and accomplishments without using the world and the devil’s systems to get them.

In going to your next Special Feature, Jesus will show you what your Christian life will be like. Being a child of God involves living with power to do what your weren’t able to do before. It is a wonderful relationship with Jesus that provides you with those things He has to offer. He will teach you how to discuss things with Him all during your day.
