It All Starts With Fear
Rom 3:18 (NIV) There is no fear of God before their eyes.

We have to start with a fear of God. That is the beginning of all wisdom. Now let’s suppose that we have a speed limit sign we are passing and a police car is following us.
Right in our rear view mirror we see it mile, after mile, after mile. There is no question whatsoever. We are going to be late for that meeting. God is everywhere. Once we read the speed limit sign (the Ten Commandments), He is going to be ever watching us. Is that scary, or what? Do you want to hear something that is even scarier than that? God knows what we are thinking.

Jer 17:10 (NIV) I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve.

We can get a ticket for just wishing we could speed.
