Are You Pressing On Or Giving Up?

Phil 3:12 (NIV) Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been made perfect, BUT I PRESS ON to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.

That is the problem we all face. We struggle, all of us, to “take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of” us.

Jesus doesn’t have any problems living a perfect life through us. But, we have a real problem with letting Him.

Still, we can “press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of” us. The pressing on will take us higher and higher toward that goal of perfection. The more we put our faith and trust in God, the more success we will see in that area. The more we fear and decide that the goal is just too high, the less we will see how much God could and would do to perfect our life and ministry.

Gal 6:9 (NIV) Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
