Just about everyone you meet wants to know how to get God to answer their prayers favorably. Most of these people don’t know that there are certain things they have to do before God responds to them. God wants to answer their prays in a positive way; but, for many, it isn’t until Jesus teaches them the principles in this series that it starts happening. Your friend can’t survive without the supernatural intervention of God. If they have had some bad experiences with not getting their prayers answered, encourage them to trust Jesus to help them with their future prayers.

Your friend has learned from the world that it doesn’t matter about their attitudes and character. As far as the world is concerned, as long as we pay them, they don’t care much what kind of a person we are. Jesus is trying to get your friend ready for life and for eternity. Their attitudes and character are influencing their relationship with themselves, the people around them, and God. As long as they learn and develop in every other area but not in their spiritual growth, their relationship with God will continue to be hard for them.
